The staff are always very helpful and willing to order specific items that are in stock. I was looking for Anansi books for my toddler and after purchasing the kind gentleman helped me find in-store, he ordered four additional from another location, and set me up for text alerts so that I would be notified once they arrived. I received alerts less than 4 days later with a message letting me know I had two weeks to purchase them to take home. I always take my time and enjoy finding learning material for my daughter.

Great store. People are very helpful kind in finding what u need. I found the books I was looking for and some cute gifts too. Well maintained store. I will be going back. Highly recommend!

This is the HPB location that is second closest to me so it’s not my main HPB but I always have a good experience when I come here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great selection of blu-rays and DVDs.

Very nice place for discount texts on many topics. Very helpful and friendly staff. Make sure to bring your own bags if you buy a lot of books.

I absolutely LOVE Half Price Books! 📚💖 You never know what treasure you'll find here! 💎 The variety is HUGE – from rare finds to the latest reads, and all at amazing prices! 💸 I’m a sucker for their clearance section – $2 movies?! Yes, please! 🤑✨ The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it so easy to get lost among the shelves for hours. 😍📖 The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you find that hidden gem or give great recommendations. 🛒🙌 Plus, they have cool collectibles and vinyl records! 🎶💿

I was surprised by the size of their inventory. They surely have a book on any subject you're seeking. The store seemed organized and clean, and customer service was top notch. I sold a small box of books for $21.

One of my favorite stores that I visit with my two autistic kids. They have been able to identify that they no longer have to rely on AI to get what they want and it’s more gratifying to be in full control of your media versus having Apple be the one to provide for you, an example would be the DVDs. I have a complete set of DVDs here for library and for a fraction of the cost of a movie on Apple Apple Store you can enjoy this movie and repeat it as much as you want for a fraction of the price you also have coordinating books if it’s a young child not only will you be able to buy DVDs here you’re able to buy books. This is like the cemetery of humanity that everyone forgot about so this store is the same as movie trading company where they’ve been able to preserved but we all have forgotten because now you’re paying $30 for convenience for a movie and you can pay three dollars here or at another store similar to this. They are like a Goodwill on steroids. They’re specialized on media not clothes but media, which includes games game consoles and unique books including presidents autobiography. I believe it was Ronald Reagan so they’ve got lots of cool stuff, including pictures of this chapel I think it went for originally 20,000 and they had it for five grand which is a really good deal considering you have the same product but 75% off so you’ll find things for three dollars up to I guess five grand even more so it’s a great place

I’ve been coming to Half Price Books in Plano for years, and it never disappoints! It’s the perfect place to sell your old books, DVDs, and albums — they make the process so easy. This was my first time visiting Half Price Books, and I absolutely loved it. The store was well-organized, clean, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed browsing through the wide selection and finding great deals on books I didn’t even know I was looking for. They also had some really cool Funko Pops! I collect them and had a great time checking out their selection. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back! This place is a hidden gem for book lovers.
